The nature of the Position | Te āhua o Te Tūrunga

We are looking for a fulltime EMS/Rescue Helicopter Pilot to join our team at our Taranaki Base on an equal-time 4 on 4 off 12 Hr roster. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference for the communities that we serve.

Essential skills/experiences for the Role | Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako

You will have the minimum skills / qualification:

  • NZ CPL(H)
  • 2000 hours total time PIC (or equivalent)
  • Unrestricted night VFR rating
  • Full NZ Class 1 medical certificate
  • Twin turbine engine experience
  • Hoist/Sling experience
  • IFR / SPIFR (FW Rating min)

Preference will be given to applicants with:

  • H145 rating
  • NZ ATPL(H)
  • EMS experience
  • NVIS experience
  • CRM
  • Mountain experience
  • HUET
  • Dangerous Goods Certificate
  • Air Maestro experience

As part of your employment, you will be required to complete a Police Check.
